The excellent 2001 Sauvignon Blanc Cellar Selection is from slightly older vines than the Private Label and harvested at 3 tons per acre. It has ripe pear and apple aromas. This light to medium-bodied, rich wine is loaded with fruit. This is a bright wine with gorgeous depth and length. Gooseberries, citrus fruits, and spiced pears are intermingled with a distinctive mineral undertone in this lovely offering's character. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
