With the same blend of grapes as the base Bianco (Friulano, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio), the 2011 Collio Zuani Riserva is distinguished by the use of oak. The wine definitely exhibits spice and toast with a good measure of fleshy, fresh fruit at the back. The bouquet is reminiscent of peach, apricot and cooked pear. The wine is similarly generous and rich in the mouth with a pretty endnote of crushed stone or granite. Drink: 2014-2017.
