A blend of selected single-vineyard lots put together by Winemaker H?tsch Kalberer, the 2018 Cuvee H Pinot Noir features wisps of smoke curling around notes of ripe cherries and strawberries. It's medium-bodied and silky-textured, with tendrils of fine-grained tannins elegantly interweaving with the somewhat delicate fruit. Showing a bit more intensity and length than the Clayvin Vineyard bottling, it still falls short of previous releases, a victim of vintage conditions.
