Almost always a guaranteed winner from WillaKenzie, this latest Pinot Blanc comes across as a peppery, spicy, bright and challenging white wine, without the lush fruit of Pinot Gris or the comforting oak cloak of Chardonnay. But you get crisply defined apple flavors, nuanced with a spicy burn reminiscent of daikon. Done entirely in stainless and fermented whole cluster, this merits the comparison to an Alsatian style.——P.G.(11/15/2007)—— 88
