The 2010 St.-Joseph Clos de Cuminaille offers spicy oak, black cherry and sweet strawberry liqueur characteristics in its medium-bodied personality. A very good effort, it reveals lots of Burgundian tendencies as well as a supple-textured mouthfeel. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
Two cuvees of St.-Joseph are produced, including Les Pierres (which comes from stony soils) and the Clos de Cuminaille (which is a true “Clos”).
