Pale to medium ruby-purple and slow to unfold, the 2017 Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina Katherine Lindsay Estate slowly gives up fresh blueberries, rooibos tea leaves, pipe tobacco, dried rose petals and blood orange peel plus notes of dried herbs over oodles of red and black berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied and a touch broody before blossoming out to perfumed notes. It has bright, juicy acidity and a grainy frame, finishing long and earthy. 248 cases were made.
