Vincent Dancer had trouble controlling his younger vines in the Beaune Montrevenots, in 2002 they yielded 43 hectoliters per hectare. He seems confounded by this parcel of 6 year-old vines, saying that their sugars soar rapidly (they came in at 14.2% natural). Its dark berry and smoky oak aromas lead to a roasted oak and blackberry-flavored, light-bodied character.
