The 2007 Rusciano (Syrah) bursts onto the palate with a rush of dark fruit. There is an energy and vibrancy to the Rusciano I find quite appealing. Aging in steel keeps the wine fresh, with attractive floral and minty notes that add complexity on the round finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. This is a stunning set of wines from Valle dell'Acate. Not only are the wines delicious, the best bottles deliver incredible value as well.
