Argillae’s 2011 Grechetto impresses for its vibrant fruit and sheer personality. Sweet, floral-infused white peaches and crushed rocks seem to jump from the glass in this beautiful, delineated Umbrian white. All the elements are in place for the 2011 to drink well for the next few years. I very much like the sense of energy and salinity here. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2015.
