The opaque ruby/purple-colored 2003 Shiraz Isolation Ridge exhibits earthy, chocolaty, dusty notes, a certain rusticity, medium to full body, and blacker fruits in the mouth. It is unquestionably a terroir-based wine, but in my opinion, it does not possess enough fruit to merit an outstanding score.Imported by USA Wine West, San Rafael, CA; tel.
