Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 King Malbec reveals aromas of warm blackberries, stewed rhubarb and mulberries with suggestions of Indian spices and tree bark. Medium-bodied, it has a generous amount of spiced red berry preserve flavors in the mouth with a medium to firm level of grainy tannins, crisp acid and a long finish. Drink this one now to 2017.
