Matured in 20% new French oak for 11 months, the 2010 Pinot Noir has a ripe, generous bouquet of fresh strawberry, bilberry and red cherry notes that soars from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with bold tannins that house the oaky red-berry fruit. Indeed, the finish exhibits a tad excessive wood at the moment, although that should integrate with bottle age.
