Medium deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Cabernet Merlot gives ripe plum and black currant aromas plus touches of mint and bay leaf. Medium bodied with chewy, slightly astringent tannins, it offers decent concentration in the mouth, crisp acidity and a long finish. Drinking now, it should keep through 2014. No known USA importer.
