The 2000 Clos Figueras (sadly, only 2,000 bottles produced) is a blend of old vine Grenache intermixed with Syrah and Carignan, all aged in new French oak. A dense ruby/purple color is followed by scents of blackberries and blueberries interwoven with a liquid minerality. This pure, medium-bodied wine exhibits a lush, concentrated texture, and ripe tannin in the long finish.
