Slightly more exotic, and not as mineral-laden as the 2003, is the light straw-colored 2004 Viognier. Medium to full-bodied, with crisp underlying acidity, and excellent depth as well as concentration, it does not reveal all the nuances and complexity of its older sibling (perhaps because it has not had as much time in the bottle).
