I have always been a fan of Randall Grahm's Clos de Gilroy. Like its predecessors, the 1993 Clos de Gilroy is a lovely, perfumed, intensely fruity (strawberries and cherries), dry, medium-bodied wine. It should be served chilled and drunk over the next 12 months.
Randall Grahm's newest releases appear to be the most impressive wines he has produced in years. One never knows what to expect from Bonny Doon Vineyard, but that's what makes it fun. For bargain hunters, there is a bevy of top selections that please both the palate and the purse.
