Not quite in the same league as the winery’s Star Vineyard or Oroppas bottlings, but then, they cost a lot more. This one shows a mountain quality to the tight, firm tannins and intensely ripe core of blackberry fruit. Pretty good Cab, and should age well for ten years.——S.H.(2/1/2007)—— 90
