For my taste, the brilliant Bruno Giacosa fashions the finest Arneis in Piedmont. This indigenous varietal hits remarkable heights under Giacosa’s guidance, revealing subtle but authoritative notes of white peaches, honeysuckle, and pear in a crisp, medium-bodied, fruity, stylish format. With good definition as well as loads of character, this is my favorite dry white of Piedmont. However, it requires consumption over the next 12-24 months.
