Giacosa’s hand with white grapes is unfaltering, as demonstrated by the 2002 Arneis, a wine and grape which he rescued from oblivion in the 1970s. Fragrant notes of white flowers, pears, and lemon are matched by ample flavors, good depth, and adequate acidity to maintain freshness and keep the wine in balance. Anticipated maturity: now-2005.
