From vines planted in 1924, the Auxey Duresses Les Bouttoniers has super-concentrated aromas of minerals and anise. The mouth is incredibly deep and complex with silky rolling fruits filled with minerals. This long and full-bodied wine is as intense a white Auxey Duresses as I could imagine, it should be drunk between 2000-2008. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
