The 2006 Plan B is composed of 60% Garnacha Negra, 15% Samso (Carinena), and the balance Syrah and Morenillo. Deep purple-colored, it exhibits a brooding bouquet of crushed stone, scorched earth, black cherry, blackberry liqueur, and licorice. On the palate it has outstanding depth, excellent grip, savory flavors, and enough structure to mandate 5 to 7 years of additional cellaring. The balance is there but patience will be required.
