The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Village finished its malolactic fermentation comparatively late, meaning that it was one of the least evolved wines in the cellar when I visited. Unwinding to reveal pretty aromas of plums, peonies, raspberries and orange rind, it's nicely concentrated, with lively acids and powdery tannins, showing plenty of promise, even if its final form remained a little hidden.
