The ruby-colored 1999 Chambolle-Musigny, from yields of 45 hectoliters per hectare, reveals fresh cherry and raspberry aromas. This light to medium-bodied, stony, fruit, metal shaving and cherry-flavored wine is easygoing and delicious. It will make for lovely near-term drinking, but does not appear to have the stuffing for cellaring. Drink it over the next 4 years.
