Located mostly in the northern part of the appellation, Chateau Maucoil produced solid wines in 2013. The 2014 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc offers pretty notes of white grapefruit, orange blossom, white flowers and subtle honeysuckle to go with a medium-bodied, supple, fruity forward style the palate. Already evolved and with low acidity, it will need drinking over the coming year or two.
