The estate’s Barbera d'Asti Camp du Rouss is superb in 2007. Sweet red cherries, flowers and French oak meld together beautifully in this rich, plump Barbera. The Camp du Rouss can sometimes be overdone, but not in 2007 – it is terrific juice. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2015.
