The fruit was sourced from Loess, Cold Creek, and Windrow vineyards from what is widely recognized as a great vintage. This purple-colored offering displays an aromatic array of smoke, herbs, spice box, balsamic, and black currant. Lush on the palate while combining power and elegance, this medium-bodied wine has layers of savory black fruit, excellent balance, and several years of aging potential. Drink it from 2013 to 2027. Northstar is under the Ste.-Michelle umbrella with the assigned task of producing the company's finest Merlots.
