The 2006 ‘Dinah’ Noble Semillon is incredibly sweet with a residual sugar level weighing-in at an impressive 255 grams per liter and possessing just 10% alcohol. Pale amber colored, it’s showing some evolution with intense aromas of dried mangos, orange marmalade, honeycomb, musk and preserved ginger. The palate is thick and viscous with very crisp acidity cutting through the richness and finishing very long. It’s a beautiful glass now but seems to be evolving quickly, so I’d recommend drinking it before 2014. Importer: Oceania Wines, New York, NY; tel. (877) 771-8773
