Good full medium red. Extremely primary but already highly nuanced nose conveys bright red cherry, raspberry, tobacco, minerals and menthol. Offers compelling silky sweetness and outstanding mineral depth, with great elegance thanks to its uncanny energy and fine-grained texture. This really dances on the palate. The very long, rising finish features subtle toothcoating tannins and leaves the mouth feeling fresh. Very impressive Barolo that really captures the essence of this vintage.
