The 2004 Syrah Sonoma reveals an inky/blue/purple color as well as a big, sweet perfume of flowers, blackberries, camphor, and earth. Supple-textured with abundant glycerin (which obscures some hefty tannin), this gorgeous red should evolve for a decade or more.
