The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc from Palliser Estate is intensely herbal on the nose with notes of fresh thyme, dill, hemp and capsicum, touches of kiwi fruit and lime leaves plus a whiff of sweatiness. The fruity, medium bodied palate gives good concentration and a bit of texture, coming in part from a bit of sweetness, finishing long. Drink it now though 2012.
