The 2014 Saint Aubin 1er Cru la Chatenière has one of the most Puligny-like bouquets within Colin's range of Saint Aubin: mineral-driven, cold flint and something that reminds me of an undergrowth cave. The palate is crisp on the entry, the acidity here nicely judged, gently building with wonderful salinity towards the finish that feels so persistent. This has great potential, so afford it 2-3 years in bottle if you can.
