The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon ASIF was aged for 23 month in 40% new French oak hogsheads. It is a glass-coating purple/black color with a brooding bouquet including notes of toast, pencil lead, black currant, and blackberry liqueur. Full-bodied, powerful, and well-balanced, this plush Cabernet will evolve for 4-6 years and drink well from 2013 to 2025. Glaymond is the hangout of rising star Damien Tscharke whose family owns the vineyards. They are located in some of the most prime real estate of Barossa Valley.
