The 2016 Chambolle Musigny Village, which contains some whole bunch fruit, has a delightful brisk blackberry and raspberry-scented bouquet. The palate is a little blocky at the moment, not a Chambolle of finesse, and I felt a touch of greenness toward the finish. I thought that the barrel that had been destemmed showed much better—fresher and without that nagging green note. Let's see how this turns out.
