The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a bit leafy and simply Ribena-like on the nose. Hints of baking spices join cassis on the medium to full-bodied palate, but this seems a bit more open-knit and loosely structured compared to the two previous vintages.

Shows power and restraint, starting off firm and savory, with herb and oolong tea notes that frame the core of currant, black cherry and cassis flavors. The tannins are dense but fine-grained, finishing with spice and tobacco details that linger on the finish.
