Both offerings from Corton (Corton and Corton Les Bressandes) possess plenty of new oak, medium body, and attractive, ripe, sweet black-cherry fruit flavors. The Corton reveals a sweeter, more velvety-textured palate. It can be drunk now or over the next 8-9 years. This domaine's 1993s possess the vintage's elevated tannins, tart acidity, and lack of concentration. As a general rule, they are sound wines, but none will be extra special.
