The 2002 Syrah Havens/Hudson/Kate’s Vineyards is a lighter, more compact version of the Black and Blue. Its dark ruby color is followed by scents of white pepper, licorice, and black currants, a good attack, but a narrow, short finish. Drink it over the next 2-4 years. Tel. (707) 261-2000
