The 2002 Trilogy has a touch of Petit Verdot added. It comes across as an elegant Napa version of a St.-Emilion. Displaying notes of dried herbs intermixed with fruitcake, spice box, red and black currants, as well as a notion of toasty oak, the wine is medium to full-bodied, measured, elegant, and French-like in style. It is not a blockbuster or over-the-top style of wine by any means, but one of restraint and elegance. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. (Release date 4/05)Tel. (707) 963-5711; Fax (707) 963-7518
