The 1995 Taurasi Montevergine is deep and flavorful boasting a dense ruby/purple color as well as a noteworthy bouquet of wood, new saddle leather, vanilla, and blackberry fruit. Peppery, spicy components emerge in the mouth. This full-bodied, dense, rich, forward yet concentrated wine can be drunk over the next 7-8 years, although it will last longer.
