The 2006 Santa Rosa Reserva is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, and 15% Merlot aged for 18 months in French and American oak. It offers up an already complex nose of cigar box, incense, black cherry, espresso, and earth notes. Layered and long on the palate, this full-bodied wine has the stuffing to evolve for 2-3 years and will deliver a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2021.
