The 2006 Pinot Noir Carter is medium/dark ruby with an alluring bouquet of violets, earth notes, cherry, and raspberry. On the palate it has superb depth of flavor, lots of spice, succulent fruit, and a persistent finish. It should be at its best from 2010 to 2018.
