I loved the 2012 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard from barrel and it didn't disappoint from bottle. Giving up rocking notes of strawberries, raspberries and cherries, it has tons of spice, dried earth and underbrush aromas and flavors that continue to develop and change in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, balanced and textured, with both freshness and richness, it's a beautifully complete Pinot Noir that should evolve gracefully. Completely destemmed and aged 20 months in 50% new French oak, this is easily the more fruit-driven, pure and elegant Pinot Noir in the lineup.
