The 2009 Bolgheri Pean is a deep, powerful wine loaded with sweet dark cherries, plums, espresso and grilled herbs. The character and personality of Bolgheri comes through on the generous, expansive finish. This is a terrific entry-level wine that impresses for its intensity and balance.
