The 2007 Bolgheri Pean is Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc aged in French oak. A warm, expressive core of black fruits, espresso, mocha, spices and new leather radiates through to the round, harmonious finish. This bold, juicy red delivers tons of Bolgheri character at a fair price. Ideally readers should open the Pean a good 30 minutes prior to serving to allow the bouquet to find its focus.
