The entry-level 2006 Pean is Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that spent 12 months in French oak. This juicy red reveals excellent length and persistence in its fruit, with a long, resonating finish. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012. Batzella is one of the emerging properties on the Tuscan coast.
