Feudi di San Gregorio has won all sorts of awards for its sleek marketing and packaging. The gorgeous bottle used to house the new 2018 Greco di Tufo Cutizzi takes top prize in my view. The bottle is elegantly ribbed with frosted glass that makes the wine appear to shine from the inside. Cutizzi is an excellent expression of the Greco grape, with fruit sourced from the well-performing Santa Paolina area of the Avellino wine region. This wine offers radiant and crisp aromas of lemon and green apple, all supported by dry mineral and crushed stone. For its ease, simplicity and general simpatia, Italian white wines don't get better than this. A generous 60,000 bottles were made, and that low price tag is unbeatable.
