The 2001 Flor di Uis is a blend of Tocai, Malvasia, and Riesling, but it is the aromatic varieties which give the wine its tone. Floral, honeyed, and spicy with important sensations of lavender, hawthorn, jasmine, and petroleum, its medium-body flavors are given extra resonance by the vibrancy and focus of its flow across the palate.
