Aged in French oak barrels for 11 months, approximately 20% new, the 2008 Pinot Noir presents a pale ruby color and notes of game, hung meat and steeped tea over kirsch, and warm cranberries with a hint of damp loam. Light bodied and elegantly fruited in the mouth, it is a little wanting in the mid-palate with crisp acid and a low level of soft tannins, finishing medium-long. Drink it now to 2014. No known USA importer.
