The 1999 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is far along its evolutionary track with savory spice and smoked meat followed by a long string of mature aromas such as saddle leather, prune and dried fruit. The wine’s appearance shows dark garnet and brown colors at the base with amber highlights. This brawny red is best consumed immediately should you currently have it stored in your cellar. Drink: 2014-2017.
