Blended of 51% Semillon and 48.5% Sauvignon Blanc with 0.5% “other,” about 1/3 of the wines going into the 2010 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc were barrel fermented. It gives moderately pronounced notes of waxy lemon, fresh grapefruit, green apple and a whiff of lanolin. Crisp and medium bodied in the mouth, it has a good concentration of citrus flavors, some silkiness to the texture and a long finish. Drink this one now to 2013.
