The elegant 2001 St.-Joseph La Source exhibits minerality along with tangy acidity, and crisp, fresh flavors that are more red than black fruit-based. It is a pretty, straightforward red. Ferraton’s wines are made under the auspices of Michel Chapoutier and his talented oenologist, Alberic Mazoyer.
